Collaborative Design Studio
Relict LLP is a collaborative architectural and landscape practice founded by Architects Nilesh Deshpande and Abhishek Chakraborty, in the year 2022. Although the firm is relatively new, the partners and associate architects have over two decades of experience in the field of architecture and landscape. The firm is a collaboration between professionals with varied skill sets and experience of working in various capacities at prestigious architectural practices.
At Relict, we believe in a holistic approach towards architecture as an integral part of the larger landscape setting in which the built environment is not separate from the natural surroundings. Our deep understanding on the natural landscape, its elements and their characteristics helps us to provide environmentally sensitive and practical solutions for the projects. Sustainability is at the core of our values which we try to carry forward in all our works.
Apart from our associates, we also collaborate with professionals from art, graphics, and technical fields who help us realise our projects in reality.
Our Story
Our practice started in 2022, although both partners Nilesh and Abhishek have been working independently over a decade. Shared interests and a zeal to promote better landscape design solutions lead us to establish our practice with limited resources at hand. We believe that the conventional idea of an architectural practice may not suit the present day needs and challenges. Our practice is a collaborative effort of like-minded individuals with varied skill sets who have come together to compliment each other and fill the voids in expertise required to deliver a project. We prefer to look at our practice as a collective effort rather than an individual achievement.
